A handbuilt mirror, each ridge pinched layer by layer and smoothed into fine points. Covered in a chrome glaze, it's highly reflective and shifts under varied lighting. From prototype to final, this piece has given me so much understanding of clay and its strength and limits, and its movement within the kiln.
This pieces is 14 inches wide and is fitted with felt backing and a hanging wire.
